Runcorn Bridge spans the Mersey, between Runcorn station and Lime Street, and if you look out of the window as you cross towards Liverpool (and you should always do), the sunlight and dramatic view of the river seem to strobe on and off as the metal uprights and railings of the bridge flicker by.
I wrote this song as a tribute to this great bridge, which always serves as an appropriately grand landmark to tell you you're fast approaching one of the most magical cities in Britain...
