To me this is celtic and psychedelic at once, on an acoustic nylon string at that! (On two tracks, I suppose). Your version of a ragtime sounds pretty good, in terms of miking, etc. How did you record that?
Hello! Glad you like it... its actually only one track of guitar, mic'ed really simply... I sat on the stairs with my guitar and MacBook, and recorded it straight into Garageband on the MacBook, no other mic or anything, just the internal one on the computer!
The reverb is partly from the echo in the hallway, and mostly from Garageband, with a standard compressor on it, set at 90%...
