One Trillionth Of A Second Too Late

My contribution to celebrating Big Bang Day! This song is for two particles who miss each other by the tiniest fraction of a second while careering in opposite directions around a 27km looped tunnel, 100m underground in Geneva. It actually did have words (well, one verse's worth anyway), but I'm too full of cold, with a muzzy head and muzzier voice to match, so it shall remain an instrumental for now - but yes, have a good week everybody and get consuming lots of Vitamin C! Cheers!

A melancholic soundtrack to the sad history of two particles missing each other, never to meet again...
Or maybe they are happy now they have "survived"?
I love the idea of dedicating a song to this subject!
The Frippian elements make it so flowing.

"sad history" or "sad story" - both are good I think! I hadn't thought of Fripp when I recorded this, but yes, you're right - I was just trying to make the guitar sound like a clarinet and a violin together!
